Becoming a mother is one of the defining moments of a woman’s life.
However, by virtue of how demanding motherhood can be, it is also very easy to become defined by it, swallowed whole by the huge but beautiful cloak of motherhood.
It gives you so much joy nurturing your offspring. You adore being the person they want to share their successes with. You’re happy teaching them, tending to their disappointments, loving them and watching them flourish.
You wouldn’t change a thing.
But sometimes, when it’s been a particularly tough day and you’re more tired than ever, you yearn for some space and time to simply be.
I know. Oh, how I know.
I love my cloak of motherhood with a passion, but every now and then the desire to shed it is strong.
This doesn’t make me, or you, a bad mother.
It simply makes us human.
It’s ok when the yearning to be You becomes more intense.
You’re allowed to give in to it sometimes because You. Are. Not. Inexhaustible. You cannot give your all to your children if your all has become depleted.
This is why looking after You is NOT selfish.
It’s necessary.
Take heart dear one, the essence of that woman is still there.
She has evolved.
Life has changed irrevocably but her essence will never leave you.
She has new layers, more depth, but the core of her is still there as strong as ever she was.
It’s time to reclaim your identity.

Finding YOU When You’re A Mother Too is an online programme that will hold your hand and lead you down the path back to You. It is specifically designed for busy mums whose time for quiet, personal reflection is scarce.
I wrote it with YOU in mind.
I know it’s hard when you don’t have enough head space to really think carefully about what You want.
Life gets in the way.
And then there’s the guilt.
Guilt is stitched into the seams of the cloak of motherhood.
There is an unspoken Rule of Mum that you should always put your children first. It’s innate, bound up with base level maternal instincts.
It’s an instinct that serves us and our families well… most of the time.
But when you encounter emotions you think you really shouldn’t be having, particularly when they’re directed towards your children… frustration, resentment, even anger… it just makes you feel even more guilty.
How would it be if there was someone to tell you,
“It’s all ok, all of it. Really it is. I sometimes feel like that too.” ?
I’m right here.
Finding YOU When You’re A Mother Too will show you how to dispel the guilt and be kind to yourself… and how everyone benefits when you do.
Going at your own pace, each module of the course offers you something to think about… a signpost to gently guide you to reconnect with the whole woman who wears that beautiful cloak of motherhood with such pride.
To be the best mother you can be, I believe you also need to honour and value the rest of the whole person that you are.
Have you ever noticed how much more patience you have when you’ve spent just a little time on yourself?
You can still be everything you need to be for your children while reclaiming and growing the inner parts of You.
It’s not one or the other, or a case of doing both badly.

I know nearly every one of your waking moments is already accounted for.
I understand that your spare time (ha!!) is in short supply.
Which is why I’ve broken down each module of Finding YOU When You’re A Mother Too into small sections which can be completed in around 10 minutes or so.
It’s deliberately bite-sized and easily digestible.
When you reconnect with the essence of who You are at your core, it replenishes the parts of you that are depleted from focussing on your family.
It makes you feel whole again.

Even as a mother you need to feel fulfilled.
You need to feel true to yourself.
You need to know what makes YOU tick.
Finding YOU When You’re A Mother Too will show you how you can do this soul-searching, and all in a gentle way that will dovetail with your day-to-day and enhance, not compromise, the amazing mother that you are.
You have permission to put yourself first occasionally.
(and you don’t have to be Wonder Woman to do it!)

How long is the course?
This is a self-paced course, so once you’ve enrolled you can take as long a you like to complete it. There is no time limit.
Does this course lead to a qualification?
No it doesn’t. This is a self-development course designed to help you think about who you really are when you’re not being a mother. The end result is a happier you… and you don’t need a certificate to prove it, you just know!
Why is the course priced in US $ when you’re based in the UK?
I’m lucky enough to have people all over the world who are interested in what I have to offer so I made the decision to price in a currency that is universally understood. The payment options will deal with any currency conversion for you. If US $ is not your home currency your bank or credit card provider may make a very small charge on your purchase (usually, but not always, around 2-3% of the transaction value) – they will be able to tell you how much this will be.
How do I work out the price in other currencies?
Use the link to this handy currency converter! PLEASE NOTE: If you live in the EU, in order to comply with VAT legislation VAT at the rate applicable for your country will be added to the cost of the course at checkout.
Why do I need to create a myTeachable account in order to enrol on the course?
The course is built on the Teachable platform which is specifically designed to deliver high quality online courses. Every user is enrolled on different courses so in order to see your courses and the progress you’re making you need to create your own secure login.
