Who am I?
I’m Mel Morris Jones and it’s important to me that you feel that you can trust me with the small amounts of personal data that you may provide me with.

I am committed to treating your personal data with the same respect that I would like my own personal data to be treated. I abhor spam so I have no interest whatsoever in renting or selling this data to any other companies for marketing purposes. That’s the bottom line.

Website Cookies
This website is built on the WordPress platform.
If you leave a comment on this site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are to make it easier for you so that you don’t have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, a temporary cookie will be set to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, several cookies will also be set up to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
Embedded Content From Other Websites
Occasionally I may publish articles on this website that include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.) from other websites. Embedded content from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Analytics
I use a third party service, Jetpack, to collect information about numbers of visitors to my website www.melmorrisjones.com, what pages they visit while they are on the website, their behaviour whilst there and what country they are in while browsing. This information does not identify you in any way. This information is useful for me to optimise the content on my website to create a better user experience.
Mailing Lists
If you subscribe to receive content from me, I collect basic personal information including name and email address. I keep this information to a minimum.
I use this information to deliver the content you have requested; to communicate with you if I need to get or give further information from or to you; to send you email newsletters; to send you information about my products and events; and to send you occasional love notes to spread a little happiness. This data will be held until you unsubscribe or ask for it to be removed.
I do not trade email lists.
If you purchase a digital product from me I may also need to know your country of residence in order to comply with VAT laws.
I use a third party email provider, Mad Mimi, to deliver regular content to my subscribers. Mad Mimi record statistics about email opening and link clicks which I use to improve my emails. Mad Mimi is a Go Daddy company and adhere to the Go Daddy Data Processing Addendum which you can read here. You can unsubscribe from these emails any time by clicking the unsubscribe link which is always at the bottom of the emails.
If you contact me using the Contact Form on my website I will keep your submission for a maximum of six calendar months or as long as is required to resolve any customer service issues you have raised, whichever is the longer.
